The identifiers an app, wallet or agent needs to connect to Celo Mainnet and the Celo Sepolia testnet.

Celo Mainnet

Fee currencies

To pay gas in a token other than CELO, set the transaction’s feeCurrency field. Tokens that do not use 18 decimals, such as USDC, USD₮ and USA₮, pass an adapter address as feeCurrency, not the token address. The addresses for both networks are on the fee currency contracts page.

Celo Sepolia Testnet

Alfajores (chain ID 44787) is retired. Use Celo Sepolia (chain ID 11142220) for testing.
The Celo Sepolia Testnet is designed for testing and experimentation by developers. Its tokens hold no real world economic value. The testnet software will be upgraded on a regular basis. This will erase your accounts, their balance and your transaction history. You may encounter bugs and limitations with the software and documentation.
